| Dave has been a member of the Middle-Tennessee chapter of the ISSA since 2006. The ISSA promotes the information security profession, security awareness and education. | The NCUG group provides a community base for Cisco technologists and users in the Middle-Tennessee and regional 4-state areas of Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. Endorsed by the U.S. Congress, i-SAFE is a non-profit foundation dedicated to protecting the online experiences of youth everywhere. | The Council for the Written Word (CWW) is a nonprofit organization that recognizes and promotes the art of writing in Williamson County, Tennessee. The council encourages, educates, and empowers writers through local seminars, events, and higher educational scholarship assistance. A member since 2006, Dave has served as Vice President in 2008 and 2009 and was elected as current board President to serve for 2010 and 2011. Dave designed the CWW logo, the CWW website, serves as webmaster for cww-writers.org, and manages CWW's social media brands on Facebook and Twitter. He provides graphic art, technical assistance, and is a contributor for CWW publicity and business documentation. | The Tennessee Writers Alliance supports the work of Tennessee writers and enhances the role of literary arts in Tennessee culture. Dave has been a member since 2006 and is active in TWA's state-wide Read-Around effort promoting writing and literacy through annual public reading events. | As a former member of the STC, Dave worked with the Lone Star Community (LSC) serving the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas metroplex. Dave served for two years as a member of the LSC Public Relations committee. His contributions helped the LSC PR committee win the 2003 Merit award in national STC competition.
